Creation
of key documents. These include press releases, press kits, white
papers, newsletters, and bylined articles in trade, business and consumer publications.
We listen, we research, and we write them right on the first draft.
Media relations. Contacts
with media people must be pursued according to a strict protocol that is known
only to media insiders and to a subset of "PR professionals" who
understand how media people think and work. This protocol has evolved over
time in particular, due to evolving technologies.
New-media content. We
do websites, from concept to copywriting and design, plus ongoing maintenance
of existing sites. From simple "brochureware" sites to online stores
and database-driven sites. We assemble key information about companies and
products into "media resource centers" for easy access by working
reporters and editors.
sometimes
Media
training. We have trained many top executives for facing the media.
These trainings can be one-on-one sessions or group sessions for key personnel
(with TV cameras for viewing and critiqueing). Real media people do some
of the interviewing.
Crisis management. We
help clients react fast, getting their message out to media, employees
and others when news about their organization is breaking fast and the
stakes are high.
